Can I make Mitchell's mixes in a pressure cooker?

While our cooking instructions were created specifically for the Instant Pot, we don't see any reason our mixes could not be made in any standard electric pressure cooker (of the appropriate size to hold the required liquid & ingredients).

Instant Pot Size:
When preparing 1 full-size Mitchell’s Soup Co. mix, we recommend using a minimum 6-quart Instant Pot or electric pressure cooker.

Using Other Pressure Cooker Models:
Our recipes were tested using the Instant Pot “Soup” setting. If you are using another model of electric pressure cooker, we recommend using the Manual/High Pressure setting.

Important:
Please do not exceed your appliance’s recommended maximum fill line, as beans and legumes expand during cooking.
